The village's history
Tirnova, the district Edinet, was grounded in the middle of XVI century.
Attested at 17 April 1576 with the act of Petru- Voda Schiopul, where the lord gave to Gavril Harovici logofat forth part from Neagauti on Racovet, named also Harbinesti and a place Truineva, or Tirnova, where made the village Grozavu Cracalia, Angheline’s son, the Galis’s nephew, the Drgan’s great grandson, sold from the privilege of Stefan the Greatest.
The first Tirnova’s inhabitants were the Romaine from Ardeal, who leave their houses because of anti - romaine politic of the Principe Stefan Bathorej.
After 1613 an establish on the territory of the alogens people let behind
the polish army after the failure from Moscow, prefer to remain to leave
in Poland, Bucovina and the North of Moldova.
